Join the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce for a special America 250 community celebration at one of the most historic landmarks in our region, the King of Prussia Inn.
This is more than an event. It is a moment to gather where history and community come together.
The King of Prussia Inn is one of the area’s most significant historic sites, with roots dating back to the early 1700s. Once a bustling stop along a major travel route between Philadelphia and the western frontier, the Inn has long been a place of connection, conversation, and community life.
It is also widely believed that this corridor was traveled by George Washington and Continental Army forces during the Revolutionary War, adding to the site’s deep historical significance.
Over time, the Inn became so well known that it helped shape the identity of the surrounding area, ultimately giving rise to the name we know today: King of Prussia.
