Celebrating Our Past. Honoring Our Future.

Join the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce for a special America 250 community celebration at one of Montgomery County’s most treasured landmarks,  the Historic King of Prussia Inn.

This special evening offers a rare opportunity to experience the Inn after hours as we bring together history, community, and the future of King of Prussia in celebration of the people, places, and stories that have shaped our region for generations.

The Historic King of Prussia Inn has stood as a gathering place for more than 250 years. Once a well-known stop along a major travel route between Philadelphia and the western frontier, the Inn has welcomed travelers, neighbors, and community members throughout its rich history.

It is also believed that this corridor was traveled by George Washington and Continental Army forces during the Revolutionary War, adding to the significance of this remarkable landmark during our nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.

Today, the Historic King of Prussia Inn continues its story. Through ongoing preservation efforts and hope for community support, the Inn is being renewed for future generations while honoring the history that makes this landmark so special.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience recent enhancements to the Inn, including a refreshed exterior and a new mural inspired by the building’s original artwork, preserving the past while creating a renewed community gathering place for the future.

America 250 Celebration Moment

Enjoy a special National Anthem tribute performed by Mark Shepperd of Mark Shepperd Productions as we celebrate this historic milestone together.

Guests will also join us for the unveiling of a new historic-inspired sign, honoring the legacy of the Inn and helping preserve its story for generations to come.
